Kata, a Hong Kong and Philippine-based mobile technology brand has finally rolled out its newest budget-friendly handset and the successor to Venus S smartphone, the Kata Venus 3 at its launching event on December 7 , 2013 at Kata Store in Robinsons Forum and December 8, 2013 at Kata Store in Starmall Edsa at 4pm. The said event was graced by shoppers and tech bloggers. There were readily accessible Venus 3 units at the demo tables installed in the shop and were tried by some fans wanting to have a firsthand experience of the smartphone.
The said launching event was an acceleration of the company's normal release cycle, as it recently launched its Kata i2 just last November 16, 2013. According to Christoper Dy, Kata Specialist/Wiz and host of the launching event, “We’ll be ending this year with a more budget friendly smartphone that has the capability to perform like the premium devices we’ve released in the past months.”
The Kata Venus 3 promotional video was also launched to the public showing the features to look forward to the latest dual core smartphone. The event concluded with a raffle draw of Venus 3 and one lucky winner got the new smartphone.
For only Php3,999, the Kata Venus 3 has an enhanced interface that boasts a solid yet portable size that comes handy whenever users want to use it. It has also a 4-inch LCD display capacitive touch screen and a dual core 1.2GHz processor that will definitely make multi-tasking a breeze. Furthermore, it is packed with a 5MP rear and a 1.2MP front-facing camera with special features that include panorama, HDR and smile shot. It is also pre-installed with Kata’s exclusive applications such as FishTune and Fish Market.
Kata had a back-to-back successful launch of Venus 3 and is expected to roll out their new and innovative devices next year.
