Definitely Japan. Definitely Kojie.san

Kojie.san

Safety and satisfaction. These factors are my priority before sticking up with any skin care products. With tons of beauty products available nationwide aimed ‘to whiten’, Filipino consumers should be more careful in trying skin care products to prevent dissatisfying results or health related risks. Did I sound too technical? I don’t usually believe in testimonies, blah, blah, so, here is my little investigation about the product I don’t intend to stop using for 3 years now.

Kojie.san brand under Beauty Elements Ventures Inc. (Bevi) company was considered to be the first to introduce the most effective lightening soap – the kojic acid soap, in the Philippine market. Although inspired by the Japanese beauty regimen, I was surprised to know that I am actually supporting a 100% Filipino owned company. Started in 2007, Kojie.san brand already garnered numerous recognitions and one of which is the Soap Brand of the Year during the Watson’s Health, Wellness and Beauty Awards in 2010.

The kojic acid is a by-product of rice fermentation in the making of Sake (rice wine of Japan) and work primarily as a deep exfoliating treatment. As a soap it is used as a skin lightening agent for people who may have forms of pigmentation on their face, hands and neck. The Kojie.san kojic acid soap is made through the combination of 100% natural ingredients citing: kojic acid, high-grade virgin coconut oil, vegetable extracts together with an orange scent assuring you that no harmful chemicals were used.

In my personal experience, my skin did lightened (face and body) and my pimples diminished. A pinkish white glow is evident as how my colleagues and relatives would say. I was known to be morena since I was a kid and if someone bothered to look me up in Facebook, you will see that my photos can do the talking.

It is kinda tricky to choose among the kojic acid soaps available in the market. However, what convinced me to buy the Kojie.san kojic acid soap aside from the price was the packaging. Why? I really liked the simplicity of the packaging design (truly Japanese). Unlike other kojic acid soaps that are usually transparent, the Kojie.san offers more secure packaging in a much, much lesser price.

NOTES:

  • When using Kojie.san, expect to feel a micro peeling effect making it a potent whitening product.
  • Expected results include: a luminous, healthy glow skin. May also help to reduce the appearance of age spots, eliminate or reduce freckles, reduce or eliminate skin discoloration from pregnancy and strengthen cell activity. Moreover, it has an antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
  • Extra moisturizer and skin soothing serums may be necessary after using the soap, as these will replenish lost moisture and help the skin heal faster. In effect, you need to avoid using skincare products that contain salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or retinol, because these can aggravate the skin.
  • More men are actually buying Kojie.san kojic acid soap. And that is a fact.

P.S. Did I forgot to mention that my sisters and their friends already include this brand soap in their everyday beauty regimen? Because I did influenced them and now, together, we are trying other Kojie.san products.
