Suzuki Philippines received yet another feather in its cap as the recently introduced Suzuki Celerio was awarded as the Basic Subcompact Car of the Year at the much-awaited Car Awards Group, Inc (CAGI) Gala Awards Night held at the Fontana Leisure Parks & Casino in Clark Field, Pampanga this November.
Members of the CAGI committee lauded the All New Suzuki Celerio’s A+ compact build — a concept that steps up on the strengths and exceeds the limits of the A segment car by implementing the “small on the outside, big on the inside” idea. It sports the same dynamic and easy-to-maneuver design, which Suzuki compact cars are known for, while offering spacious room for passengers and relatively huge luggage capacity.
SPH General Manager for Automobile Shuzo Hoshikura proudly shared, “As a pioneer manufacturer of compact vehicles, we are truly grateful for this acknowledgement, which recognizes our continuous pursuit to come up with top quality vehicles that would fit the growing needs of the automotive market. We are dedicating this award, and other recognitions we received this year, to our valued customers who have been our inspiration in developing and manufacturing premium and reliable cars.”
Apart from this, the All New Celerio also bagged the Air Asia Philippines Consumer Award.
The Car Awards Group, Inc (CAGI) has been established since 2004 and is composed of motoring editors from some of the most respected publications in the Philippines. The group recognizes winners of the year through independent, and comprehensive testing with qualitative and quantitative criteria. Entry vehicles are being reviewed based on all aspects of the vehicle, from safety features, competitive price and so much more.
