YouTube and Branded Ltd, in association with Sunsilk and Closeup are delighted to announce the debut of YouTube FanFest in the Philippines, a live show bringing together Filipino fans and YouTube stars from around the world.

YouTube FanFest is an event that gives fans the unique opportunity to meet their internet heroes in person. First launched in Singapore in May 2013, YouTube FanFest has since taken Asia-Pacific by storm. The YouTube FanFest 2015 tour kicked off in Mumbai in February, before lighting up Singapore and Thailand this past May.

YouTube FanFest Philippines will debut on Friday, June 26 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. This live show will bring some of YouTube's biggest global creators, artists and influencers as well as local online stars and up-and-coming talent on stage before 3,000 eager Filipino fans for the first time.

The stellar line-up for the inaugural YouTube FanFest Philippines features a mix of talented international creators including Bethany Mota, Kurt Hugo Schneider, Thatcher Joe, AJ Rafael, as well as local sensations Lloyd Cafe Cadena, Donnalyn Bartolome, and Abra, among others. The international creators will be flown in by YouTube FanFest’s official airline partner, Philippine Airlines.

“#BringYouTuberstoManila is the latest illustration of how much Filipinos love YouTube. Fans spoke up and we listened. By bringing YouTube Fanfest to Manila for the first time in a couple of weeks, we hope to give YouTube creators and Filipino fans a new way to connect and celebrate the content they’re passionate about,” said Ryan Morales, Country Marketing Manager of Google Philippines.

“We are thrilled to be able to add Manila to the global YouTube FanFest map. With some of the most passionate and the noisiest fans on the planet, this is going to be epic!” said Jasper Donat, CEO of Branded Ltd., YouTube FanFest Co-Producer.

To make this day even more memorable, fans can get up close and personal with the stars by participating in promotions run by the YouTubers themselves.

The first round of general admission tickets got snapped within less than an hour last Friday via TicketWorld Manila. Additionally, participating YouTube creators will also give away their own tickets to the show and Meet & Greet sessions via their social media channels. Other event partners and details for ticketing can be found at www.youtubefanfest.com/ph.
