HP announces the new Envy 15, 17 and 17 3D




After launching the Folio and the redesign dm4, HP once again introduced the redesigned HP ENVY notebooks PCs that exude power, performance, advanced technologies and precision craftsmanship.

The HP Envy 15 starts with a Core i5 CPU, 6GB of RAM, 500GB 7,200RPM hard drive, Bluetooth, Intel Wireless Display, slot-loading DVD burner, AMD Radeon HD graphics, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.0 sockets, and an eight-cell, 76Wh battery, which promises up to nine hours of runtime.


The HP Envy 17 also starts with a Core i5 CPU, 6GB of RAM,750GB 7,200RPM drive, Bluetooth, WiDi, DisplayPort, USB 3.0 socket, DVD burner, AMD graphics, standard 1080p Radiance display, and a six-cell, 91Wh battery, which promises up to nine and a half hours of runtime. While the HP Envy 17 3D comes with the same Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 750GB 7,200RPM drive, AMD Radeon HD graphics, a six-cell battery, Bluetooth, WiDi, a Blu-ray player and one pair of HP 3D Active Shutter Glasses.


All of them come with a standard six speakers, a subwoofer, HP's CoolSense technology, HP Wireless Audio, backlit keyboards powered by Radiance technology and both Envy 15 and Envy 17 are available with optional Radiance Full HD Infinity display.






The new HP ENVY notebook PCs are planned to be available in the United States on Dec. 7.
