Alcatel OneTouch Blaze 990 is now upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Good news to all lucky owners of Alcatel OneTouch Blaze 990, Alcatel Mobile Philippines just announced on their Facebook page that the Blaze 990 will be receiving free updates of Android 2.3 Gingerbread on February 13, 2012. All you have to do is to bring your phone, receipt and warranty card to the nearest Alcatel Customer Service Center for the free update.

Update: (02/06/12) Alcatel OneTouch Blaze 990 upgrade from Android 2.2 to 2.3 is now available online.
Update: (05/22/12) Alcatel One Touch Blaze 990 now retails for just Php6,999 only. That's Php1,000 cheaper from its original SRP of Php7,999. Read more
