New Smart postpaid subscribers get FREE Smart Money card

Getting a Smart Money, the world’s first cash card linked to a phone, is now free and easy for all new postpaid subscribers of wireless leader Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart). With Smart Money, they can easily, conveniently, and securely pay for their bill anytime and anywhere, with just a few clicks right on their mobile phone.

“This offer reinforces our commitment to provide our subscribers with an enhanced customer experience,” said Tricia V. Dizon, head of Smart’s Financial Services. “Aside from enjoying ‘nationwidest’ coverage and superior call quality, Smart postpaid subscribers may now also enjoy the convenience of paying for their postpaid bills whenever, wherever they may be.”

As an added convenience, new postpaid Smart subscribers no longer need to fill out a separate Smart Money application form. All they need is to submit a fully-accomplished postpaid Subscriber Application Form (SAF) with all the required documents, to avail of their free Smart Money card.

As a new Smart Money accountholder, subscribers can conveniently pay for their Smart postpaid bills, as well as for other utilities like Meralco, PLDT, and Maynilad using their mobile phones. They may also take advantage of the speed and security of transferring cash to over 50 million Smart subscribers for sending of allowance, salary, or just for paying a friend; and the convenience of receiving cash from other Smart Money accounts.

They may also enjoy the convenience of sending thru the extensive, 95,000-strong agent-network of Smart Money partners abroad; the benefits of shopping for goods and services from over 30 million MasterCard establishments worldwide and over 350,000 MasterCard merchants online; the security of mobile banking using a Smart cellphone; and the ease of being able to withdraw from over 10,000 ATMS and over 5,000 Smart Money Centers in the country.

Through the payment convenience offered by Smart Money -- issued exclusively by BDO Unibank, Inc. -- Smart postpaid subscribers don't need to transport cash, to travel long distances to payment centers, nor experience long queues when paying for their postpaid bills.
