Acer officially launches the Aspire S5 Ultrabook in the Philippines for Php65,000

Acer Philippines has officially launched its second ultrabook called the Aspire S5 at Acer’s Tech Showcase 2012. According to Acer, the Aspire S5 is the thinnest ultrabook around, measuring at just 15mm thick and comes with an Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 13-inch (1366 x768) 200-nit Acer CineCrystal LED display and 128GB SSD. What makes the Acer Aspire S5 ultrabook unique is its hidden port design. Only ports seen on the side are the 3.5mm audio jack and the SD card reader. The rest are concealed at the back which is accessed by pressing a button to lift the back to reveal the rest of the ports
