MyPhone A878 Duo vs. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos: Specs Fight!



The MyPhone A878 Duo and the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos, both are among the budget-friendly (below P7K) dual-SIM Android smartphones in the market today and due to the arrival of the MyPhone's A878 Duo during MyPhone's “Fans Day Madness!” event yesterday with an SRP of just Php6,999 only! That's the same price range of that of the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and with that price a lot of people are asking which is better between the two? So, its between David (MyPhone) vs. Goliath (Samsung) again? If you can see the MyPhone A878 Duo with its dual-core 1GHz processor, PowerVR SGX531 GPU, 4.3-inch WVGA IPS display (giving it a wide viewing angle, fast response speed and a simple pixel structured), 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 5MP camera, battery capacity (1,800mAh) and OS version (ICS vs Gingerbread) easily beats the entry-level Samsung Galaxy Y Duos in all areas except for the Galaxy Y's price (It's Php209 cheaper than the A878 Duo) and most importantly, support for 3G/ HSDPA connectivity!
