Smart LTE now in more areas around the Metro Manila!

Wireless leader Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is making it easier for Long Term Evolution (LTE) subscribers to enjoy next-generation mobile broadband connectivity by putting up LTE “sticker pins” in the fast growing number of establishments around Metro Manila where its LTE service is available.

Similar in appearance to those used in online map services, Smart’s LTE Pins helps users identify if an establishment has an LTE signal. This, as Smart Broadband Internet and Data Services Head Lloyd Manaloto says helps make the wireless service “visible” to its customers.

If you see the pin, LTE is there—all you need to do is to take a seat and enjoy our connection speeds of up to 42Mbps,” he said.

Manaloto adds that apart from letting people know of LTE’s presence, the pins will also help bring in additional business to partner merchants.

“It’s no different from having a credit card logo on your door,” said Manaloto. “Smart LTE essentially becomes a value-added service—one that is virtually of no cost to the proprietor,” he added.

Initial areas where the stickers have been distributed include Hard Rock Café at Glorietta 3, The Old Spaghetti House along Valero St. Makati, Barcino restobar at Fort Bonifacio Taguig, T.G.I.Friday’s at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, and Orchard Road restaurant at SM Megamall Mandaluyong.
