Paying bills is easy with the GCASH smartphone app



Paying bills on time is now easier than you think. With the new GCASH smartphone app you can pay all your bills in seconds with just a few clicks on your mobile phone. The new GCASH Mobile App for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry makes it more enjoyable for users to do GCASH transactions like paying bills. From your Globe postpaid account to credit cards, utilities, or even topping up E-Pass and EasyTrip, just open your GCASH app in your mobile phone, click on the ‘Pay Bill' link' and you are good to go. No need to memorize keywords or access numbers!

"Paying is almost always a chore. With the GCASH mobile app and the enjoyable experience it offers, our subscribers will feel good getting payments done using GCASH," GXI President Paolo Baltao said. "Even for non-smartphone users, they can dial *143# on their phones and select GCASH to enjoy the same experience," he added.

Your payments are processed by your billers in 1-2 banking days. All the transactions done using the GCASH App as well as your current balance are reflected in the opening screen, or the GCASH Mobile App moneybook which lists down all the GCASH transactions for the month in real-time.

List of bills that can be paid via GCASH include Globe services like postpaid and Globelines; utilities like Destiny Cable, Manila Water, Maynilad Water, Meralco, My Destiny, Skycable, South Cotabato II Electric, Visayan Electric Co. Inc.; credit cards including Allied Bank, BDO, Bankard, EastWest Bank, HSBC, Metrobank/PSBank, PNB, Security Bank – Diners & Mastercard, and Union Bank; insurance – Ayala Life, Cocolife, Danvil Plans/Berkeley International, Philamlife, Pru Life UK, Sun Life of Canada (Phil); school – La Salle Greenhills; and loans – Chinatrust Salary Stretch, Citibank Savings, and PSBank.

You may also pay the following via GCASH—Avon, DTI, E-Pass, Easy Trip, Ensogo, Jet Star Airlines, NSO Helpline Plus, as well as SSS contributions of farmers, fishermen, OFWs, and self employed.

To install the GCASH Mobile App, you can go to the Apple App Store, Google Play, and BlackBerry App World, search for GCASH and download it for free. To launch the GCASH mobile app, a subscriber only needs to log in with his Mobile PIN (MPIN). Clean and the intuitively-designed screens will guide the subscriber in doing GCASH transactions.

GCASH also has a two-factor authentication system that makes your GCASH account safer.

The app can be downloaded in supported versions of the following operating systems including iPhone iOS version 4.3 or up, Android OS version 2.0 or up, and BlackBerry OS version 5.0 or up.

  1. I'm using GCASH right now to buy load for my staff and GCASH AMEX for items from Amazon and I must say it's pretty impressive, considering it was just launched last year.
