MyPhone A919 Duo now available for FREE at Sun Cellular Plan 450!

Remember that time when we all obsessed on how small the newest phone will be? How small the keypads and the screens will be? How many of those miniature buggers can fit in your pocket? In technology, size does matter, and back then, the smaller your phones are, the better. But that time has come and gone, because the game right now is all about the BIG boys.

This new breed of enormous phones is often billed as the phablet (phone and tablet mashed up), which is what tech enthusiasts call handsets with screens of 5 inches or larger. We’ve seen a burgeoning popularity of phablets over the past couple of years, which can be attributed to everyone’s desire for a more immersive smartphone experience the massive screens and powerful specs bring to the user.

But there’s one problem.

Phablets are generally expensive, which is what you would expect from gadgets of such caliber. To make matters worse, not only do you have to pay good money for your own phablet, but you also have to pay for the mobile services needed to make the most out of it as well.

Looking for a phablet coupled with all the services you need is made easy by Sun Cellular Postpaid, with a bunch of packages with the best, newest phablets available today.

First up is the A919, from Philippine-based brand MyPhone. Inside the sleek body is a powerhouse, thanks to the 1 gHz processor and the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The A919 also has an 8MP camera, and a smaller one at the face of the unit. Screen? 5 inches of pure goodness.

The A919 is free under Sun Cellular Plan 450, which gives you one MyPhone A919, unlimited Sun calls and texts, P100 consumable amount, and 250 free texts to other networks.

Best of all, it has dual-sim capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand is also free under Sun Cellular Plan 999 – unlimited Sun texts, 4 hours of Sun calls, and of course, unlimited mobile internet.

Last is the reigning king of phablets, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a massive phone with its 5.5 inches, Gorilla Glass, Super AMOLED Display. The insides are even more impressive thanks to the Exynos 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, making multi-tasking extremely streamlined and fast.

The Note 2 also comes with the Android Jellybean operating system right out of the box, so you can expect an improved user interface, as well as compatibility with the best apps available for Android handsets.

  1. I want to apply to this postpaid plan, but I have reviewed that Sun's signal is low at most times. I want someone to confirm this if it is true or not. Second, I want to hear everyone's opinions about Sun's CS (Customer Service) because as I researched, it sucked.
