ASUS announces ET2311 All-in-One PC: 23-inch Full HD display and 4th-gen Intel Core processor

ASUS recently announced the ET2311 All-in-One PC with 23-inch widescreen display and the latest 4th generation Intel Core processor. With a stylish, space-saving design, the ET2311 is perfect for home users who want a compact and powerful PC with a larger screen than a notebook, and professional users who lack the space for a traditional desktop PC.

The ET2311 features a brilliant Full HD IPS display and NVIDIA GeForce graphics for 3D gaming at high resolutions and visual quality settings. Optional 802.11ac Wi-Fi provides extreme wireless data transfer rates and seamless HD video streaming, while USB 3.0 supports an ever-expanding range of high-performance peripherals and storage devices over wired connections.

Brilliant widescreen display with sound quality to match

The ASUS ET2311 All-in-One PC features a 23-inch widescreen display with a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. IPS display technology gives vibrant images and accurate color, with 178-degree wide viewing angles for easy shared enjoyment of movies, games and photographs. The ET2311 is available with optional five-point multi-touch for a fast and fluid Windows 8 experience. HDMI-in/out ports mean the ET2311 can be used as a Full HD display for Blu-ray players and game consoles, and can connect to an HDTV for big-screen entertainment.

Outstanding image quality on the ET2311 is matched by equally impressive sound. ASUS SonicMaster Premium technology combines high-quality audio hardware with powerful internal stereo speakers, while an optional desktop subwoofer gives resonant bass, without the clutter of an external 2.1 speaker set-up.

High-end performance with next-generation technology
The ASUS ET2311 All-in-One PC is powered by the latest 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor with across-the-board improvements in multi-tasking and energy efficiency. The ET2311 also features optional NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M discrete graphics with intelligent real-time performance optimization. Models are available with hard drive capacities up to 3TB, or a 128GB solid-state drive with 1TB hard drive.

With wireless transfer rates up to 867Mbit/s with compatible routers, 802.11ac Wi-Fi is around 16 times faster than 802.11g and around three times faster than 802.11n, making the ET2311 ideal for streaming Full HD video without the inconvenience of network cables.

Exclusive ASUS features and software
The ASUS ET2311 All-in-One PC also features ASUS Ai Charger II technology for faster recharging via USB. Smartphone and tablets recharge in around half the time, even when ET2311 is shut down.

The ET2311 also includes a number of bundled applications, including ASUS Launcher for faster launching of frequently used apps, MusicMaker for music composition and Video Easy for professional video-editing results in record time. 32GB of ASUS WebStorage is also included free for three years for easy cloud-based syncing and sharing of files.
