PSITS-WV to hold its 16th Regional IT Congress at the Sarabia Manor Hotel in Iloilo City this August!

The Philippine Society of Information Technology Students-Western Visayas (PSITS-WV) will hold its 16th Regional IT Congress, with the theme “The EDGE in ICT:EDucational tools, technical writinG and frEelancing”, on August 30, 2013 at the Sarabia Manor Hotel, Gen. Luna St., Iloilo City. The topics to be discussed are the following - Freelancing, Job Opportunities, Google Tools for Education, ITE and IT Technical Writing!

There will be an inter-school competition during the convention:

• Quiz Bowl (one team composed of two students per participating school)
• Digital Art Contest (one contestant per participating school)
• Web Design Contest (one entry per participating school)

*Participants need to bring their own laptops for the digital art and programming contests, with installed applications/compilers (but subject to checking by the Contests Committee)

Registration Fee:

• Php 900 per student for affiliated schools
• Php 950 per student for non-affiliated schools
• Free 1 faculty for every 25 students

Fee is inclusive of the following:

• Lunch and 1 AM&PM Snacks
• Certificate of Participation
• PSITS Conference Kit

1. All payment should be done online via BPI. Onsite registration/payment will not be accepted.
2. Only the first 1,000 registrants will be accommodated.
