Huawei Ascend P6 now available in Limited Edition Kitty Pink, priced at Php18,990!
Huawei Technologies Philippines just unveiled that the Huawei Ascend P6, the world’s slimmest smartphone measuring 6.18mm now gets a ferocious new look as it now comes in delectable pink! The limited edition Kitty Pink Ascend P6 has a stainless steel back cover, and aluminum chassis which brings out the color and enhances the design. More details after the jump.
“Based on our market research, we selected the soft pink color that proved to be most popular amongst women of all age groups and backgrounds,” said Leo Wang, county device business head of Huawei Technologies Philippines.
The same shade of pink is used throughout the exterior of the device, but will present differently due to the reflection of various materials. The design team took full advantage of this by using a lighter shade of pink (instead of white or silver) on the frame to create an elegant final impression.
For added protection and to cushion impact if the device is dropped or bumped against hard surfaces, an invisible layer of plastic has been wrapped around the aluminum chassis.
The decision to use stainless steel was more expensive and posed more manufacturing challenges compared to aluminum and plastic, but the end result is a device with lasting beauty and strength.
