Lenovo announces the new ThinkPad Yoga, T440s, T440, X240, S440 and S540 in the Philippines

Lenovo has announced new additions to the ThinkPad family - ThinkPad Yoga, T440s, T440, X240, S440, and S540. These new ThinkPad Ultrabooks showcase intuitive, user-focused designs and a slew of powerful features to help professionals achieve their personal and work aspirations.
With thinner form factors, a 45 percent larger TouchPad, and up to 20 percent reduction in bezel size, the simple and modern design of the new ThinkPads delivers the performance users expect from a business laptop with excitement and appeal of a consumer gadget. New features such as full HD touch screens offer a more intuitive interaction while quality and reliability maintain ThinkPad’s legendary status as the leading commercial notebook vendor.

ThinkPad Yoga Dons Black and Business-Ready Features
While borrowing Yoga’s flip and fold, four mode design, the ThinkPad Yoga creates its own space for business customers with its performance, security, productivity, and customization options. The 12.5 inch magnesium alloy ThinkPad Yoga offers a stunning visual and intensive multimedia experience with choices of a Corning Gorilla Glass HD IPS or a FHD IPS display (optional digitizer and pen available for the FHD display) running Windows 8.1. For a responsive touch experience, use its 10-finger touch screen running Windows 8.1 or its oversized five-button glass trackpad optimized for gestures.
Designed for maximum comfort in all modes, the ThinkPad Yoga features a unique lift and lock system created for tablet mode. The system automatically lifts and locks the keys on the machine’s keyboard in place for a streamlined feel. Additionally, ThinkPad Yoga features the legendary ThinkPad keyboard with optional backlit models and models with Near Field Communications (NFC) to easily share data between devices.
The ThinkPad Yoga has what business users need: choices of up to Intel 4th generation Core i7 processors, up to 1 TB of storage equivalent to 500 DVD movies, and all-day battery life. The ThinkPad Yoga also responds to voice input so users can chat on Instant Messaging programs, play their music, search the web and more without lifting a finger. ThinkPad T440s and T440: Premium Business Ultrabooks for Business Professionals
The ThinkPad T Series is the mainstay of Lenovo’s business portfolio and continues the legacy as Lenovo’s most popular notebook with new ThinkPad T440s and T440. The super thin and light T440s Ultrabook embraces the PC Plus era with new Full HD touch screens, enhanced Windows 8 support, Solid State Drives (SSD) and Intel VPro support.
Built using the latest lightweight carbon fiber materials, the T440s weighs as little as 3.5 pounds and is only 21 mm thin (.83 inches). With battery life up to 10 hours, up to 1TB of local storage and the latest generation Wi-Fi and 4G WWAN technology, the T440s is designed to ensure maximum road warrior efficiency.
The ThinkPad T440 is the mainstream 14 inch HD+ Ultrabook with optional touch and includes the same features as its thinner brother. The new Thinkpad Trackpad streamlines user experience. ThinkPad X240: The Perfect Ultrabook
The ThinkPad X240 is the ultimate 12 inch business ready ultraportable. Designed for serious business and mobility, the X240 weighs less than 3 pounds and is only 20.3 mm (.79 inches) thin. Featuring up to 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors, up to 1 terabyte of storage, Full HD display option with touch, ThinkPad Precision backlit keyboard and a complete set of ports with full connectivity, the X240 is the definitive thin and light ultrabook.
It also showcases the new Power Bridge technology, which addresses users’ portability and power requirements. The internal 3 cell battery allows for battery swapping without shutting down the system. With the additional Lithium-ion 6 cell 72Wh battery, ThinkPad X240 can provide up to 17.4 hours of battery life.
