Starmobile recently announced on their Facebook page that the Starmobile Diamond S2 is now available in Starmobile kiosks and stores nationwide for only Php9,990 (SRP). Included in the box is a magnetic smart cover, which has a viewing window that displays the time and other notifications. This allows you to keep your phone fashionable and functional at the same time. More about the Starmobile Diamond S2 after the jump.
The beautiful Diamond S2 also packs a MediaTek MT6582M chipset with a 1.3GHz Quad Core processor + a Mali-400MP GPU which gives it enough power to breeze through multiple applications with ease. Both the 12MP rear and 3MP front cameras are equipped with BSI sensors for crystal clear photos. Like the Diamond S1, the Diamond S2 has one tray for regular SIM cards and one for micro-SIM cards.
The Diamond S2 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, a feature which allows users to update their phones to the latest version of Android via Wi-Fi and without the need for a PC. It also has Starmobile Sync which allows you to quickly transfer Contacts, Messages, Calendar, and other data from your old phone of any brand to the Diamond S2 via Bluetooth.
