Starmobile Diamond S3: Specs, Price and Availability in the Philippines
Starmobile recently announced on their Facebook page that the Starmobile Diamond S3 is now available in Starmobile kiosks and stores nationwide for only Php8,990 (SRP). The Diamond S3 is also equipped with GLONASS technology aside from its GPS and A-GPS capabilities. This makes it closely similar with the Starmobile Navi, which possibly makes it more accurate when using GPS-related apps. More details after the jump.
The Starmobile Diamond S3 display measures 5.5 inches and sports a qHD (960x540) multi-touch display with a pixel density of 200ppi and OGS technology. Its main camera makes use of an 8MP BSI sensor with AF and LED flash, while a 2MP shooter is located upfront. The Diamond S3 also packs a Broadcom 23550 chipset with a 1.2GHz Quad Core processor + a Broadcom VideoCore IV graphics, 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage which gives it enough power to breeze through multiple applications with ease.
The Diamond S3 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, a feature which allows users to update their phones to the latest version of Android via Wi-Fi and without the need for a PC. It also has Starmobile Sync which allows you to quickly transfer Contacts, Messages, Calendar, and other data from your old phone of any brand to the Diamond S3 via Bluetooth.
