Lenovo intesifies retail presence in Mindanao with 2 new Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores

Lenovo steps up its game in the smartphone market with the opening of 2 new Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores in the burgeoning cities of Butuan and Davao.

The Lenovo concept store in Butuan is located at the third floor of Bayanihan Robinson’s Place and is owned and operated by Pats Electronics. Consumers in Davao, meanwhile, can now visit the Lenovo mobile concept store located at the 3rd floor of Abreeza Mall. It is owned and operated by Tech Phone Communication.

“The opening of the two new Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores is more than just a sign of expansion for our company -- it’s proof that Filipinos have become more discerning of their technological needs, and are ready for more options coming their way, brought to them, of course, by the Lenovo brand,” notes Michael Ngan, Country General Manager of Lenovo Philippines.

In the latest IDC Philippines data, mobile shipments to the Philippines have grown to 28 million. In 2013 alone, the smartphone shipment percentage jumped by 75% year-on-year, as the Philippines continues to rise in the ranks as one of the fastest growing mobile market in the ASEAN region.

The two newly opened Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores will carry a variety of Lenovo smartphone products such as the latest A series which include the A316i, the A680, and the A859,  the new Lenovo S Series such as the S930 and S650 and their premium flagship smartphones, the Vibe series including the Vibe X and their first LTE capable smartphone, the Vibe Z. The exclusive stores for mobile will also carry Lenovo tablets such as the Yoga Tablet 8” and 10” and Miix 2 8” as well as Lenovo mobile accessories.

Lenovo currently has nine Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores nationwide, with the Abreeza mobile concept store being the second exclusive store carrying smartphones and tablets in Davao. Lenovo opened their first mobile exclusive store in Davao in October of 2013 at the Gaisano Mall.
