Lenovo partners with Vibal
Lenovo LanSchool, Lenovo ThinkPad 8, and ThinkCentre M73 Tiny to empower the education sector

Lenovo has partnered with digital education leader Vibal Group to promote the use of technology in local teaching, research, and learning practices. The partnership hopes to improve Philippine schools’ curriculum through Lenovo LanSchool with the adoption of Lenovo ThinkPad hardware to address the academe’s shifting expectations in the age of IT consumerization.

Empowering the academe with Lenovo technology

As Lenovo’s academic partner, Vibal will educate schools about Lenovo LanSchool which can improve student-teacher dynamics. Lenovo LanSchool Classroom Management software allows teachers to monitor classroom activity, block unnecessary websites, and assess a student’s understanding in real-time. It prevents distractions while helping teachers maintain order and discipline in their classes.

The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 and ThinkCentre M73 Tiny will enable students to be productive and trendy while giving them the flexibility to use the devices in any type of learning environment. With a machine-cut aluminum frame housing 128GB of internal storage, a bright 1920x1200 display, and the latest Intel Bay Trail Quad Core processor, the ThinkPad 8 is functional and easily fits into a backpack. Students can convert the ThinkPad 8 into Tent Mode with the optional Quickshot cover or attach it to a ThinkPad USB 3.0 dock station. The latter can be connected to an LCD monitor, a full size USB keyboard and a desktop storage device for a full-fledged PC experience.

The ThinkCentre M73 Tiny comes in three different form factors - Mini Tower, Small Form Factor, and Tiny. With a space-saving design, ThinkCentre M73 Tiny blends both a hyper-speed wireless experience and an enhanced signal reception for a state-of-the-art learning experience.
