CommunicAsia Press Con

CommunicAsia2015, EntepriseIT2015 and BroadcastAsia2015 – Asia’s pioneering ICT and broadcasting industry events – will be held once again at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands from June 2 to 5 this year. The exhibition will bring to the forefront a wide range of the latest technologies and solutions that will give Philippine companies the edge needed to adapt and compete on a global stage.

Philippines ICT industry on a continued upswing in 2015

International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts that the ICT industry in the Philippines will be on a continued upswing this 2015. In its “The Philippines ICT Top 10 Predictions 2015: Accelerating Innovation on the 3rd Platform” report, IDC notes that local ICT spending is expected to be heavily impacted by the 3rd Platform - cloud, social business, Big Data and analytics, and mobility - and the usage of these technologies will be driven by the needs of companies seeking for new and effective ways of engagement . The adoption of such disruptive technologies will bring innovations in business models and consumption patterns. Organisations that adopt these technologies will be able to engage with customers in a more personal way — to deliver products and services faster, to accelerate product-process-and-service innovation, and to allow greater business resiliency.

Furthermore, local organisations are expected to start embracing newer technologies, beginning with 3D printing, and at an emergent level, Internet of Things (IoT) into their business processes.

“CommunicAsia, EnterpriseIT and BroadcastAsia provide an opportune venue for Philippine companies to be truly exposed to innovative products and advanced IT applications and solutions which they can adopt to stay ahead of competition. At the same time, delegates can network and exchange with experts industry knowledge and insights on trends that are relevant to their markets. These industry events and the technologies that will be featured will be even more valuable as ASEAN-member countries prepare for the regional economic integration by 2015,” says Ms. Agnes Leung, Assistant Project Director (Communications Events) from event organiser Singapore Exhibition Services.

The Philippine office of NTEK Systems, Inc., which is part of the country’s official delegation to Singapore, will join the CommunicAsia contingent and present its smart devices and solutions for diverse markets.

“We are excited to be a part of a well-recognised ICT industry event such as CommunicAsia. It's a great opportunity to showcase a new era of technology in communications and security, and show the public our company’s capability to create smarter products and solutions that can change the way people live and work in the age of connected devices.” said Mr. Norman Pardalis, Marketing Manager, NTEK Systems, Inc.

With mobile devices and connectivity ingrained in our work and everyday lives, CommunicAsia2015 and EnterptiseIT2015 will provide a deeper look into the entire info-communications ecosystem, with a strong spotlight on state-of-the-art technologies and solutions that can empower a “connected” city, government, enterprise and consumer. SatComm2015, the strategic platform for the satellite communications industry, and the CommunicAsia2015 Summit will likewise take place as part of the industry event.

Held concurrently with CommunicAsia2015 and EnterpriseIT2015, BroadcastAsia2015 will bring visitors on an immersive journey as they navigate through a myriad of next-generation broadcasting technologies and innovations currently impacting consumers’ experience of visual, audio, and more. Highlights of BroadcastAsia2015 include the TV Everywhere! Zone (NEW), ProfessionalsAudioTechnology2015, the Cinematography/Film/Production Zone, BroadcastAsia2015 International Conference, and the 6th Creative Content Production Conference 2015.
