In the first half of 2022, Twitter continues to be the go-to place for the gaming communities to share and connect with each other through real-time conversations. From Genshin Impact and Wordle to Xbox Showcase and Playstation’s State of Play; there were 1.5 billion Tweets related to gaming globally (January - June 2022), up by 36% year over year (Twitter Internal Data, January - June 2021 vs January - June 2022)

Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand are among the top 10 countries globally with the highest number of conversations about games during the first half of 2022. These three countries were also among the top 10 countries within the same category in 2021.
