Lady Gaga becomes the first person to hit 20 million followers on Twitter
Lady Gaga, an American singer and songwriter just reached a landmark in Twitter's history by becoming the first person to hit 20 million followers on Twitter last Saturday, since topping fellow pop icon Britney Spears in August of 2010 to become the most-followed person on Twitter and the title “Queen of Twitter” ever since.
According to Mashable, Lady Gaga has claimed to personally maintaining her Twitter account and regularly uses it to interact with fans, share original pictures and make announcements. While Spears occasionally posts personal tweets, her account is largely maintained by her management team.In addition to her 20 million Twitter followers, Lady Gaga has 48.8 million fans on Facebook and is in approximately 830,000 circles on Google+.
