MyPhone A858 Duo vs. MyPhone A818 Duo: Specs Fight!

The MyPhone A858 Duo and the MyPhone A818 Duo, both phones were announced on MyPhone's "TRADE-IN MADNESS: Android Phone Edition" promo and both are among the budget friendly Android dual-SIM smartphones below Php5k. Due to the demand of these phones, can you really tell the difference between the two, aside from their looks? If not, let’s look at their specs side-by-side after the jump.

If you can see the MyPhone A858 Duo edges the MyPhone A818 Duo with its 1GHz processor (ARMv7), PowerVR SGX531 GPU (can play Temple Run and is compatible with Adobe Flash!), bigger display (3.95-inch), RAM (512MB/ 488.1MB Usable), microSD support up to 32GB, battery (1,600mAh) and GPS support! While the A818 Duo only edges the A858 Duo with its 250MB of internal storage which is larger than the 128MB of the A858, its VGA front-facing camera (the A858 has none) and its price (it's Php1,000 cheaper than the A858 Duo). Now, which these phones do you think wins the fight?

- Both the MyPhone A858 Duo and MyPhone A818 Duo doesn't support 3G connectivity, while the latter don't have a GPS.

  2. Opo, yung 3G capable ay ginagamit ng phone yung 3G cellular network para mka pag internet ng mabilis.. sa nd po 3G - GPRS/EDGE lng po kaya mbagal ang pg internet.

    Hi. I just bought A858 last saturday, and so far I dont have any complain yet with regards to the specs and everything. Touch screen is very responsive. Later, I will buy another one for my loveydovey, he envy me having this Android unit with a very cheap price. No regrets on buying this phone. So, what are u waiting for? Go now to your nearest store and buy A858 to personally exprience what it has inside! :D

    858 sana bibilhin q...a818 di pwed temple run kaso wala pa sa naga city nung bumili aq nung sat...naroot q kagad,...una di q maroot. tapos from v18 to v11 downgrade. naroot pero me sira wifi. tapos me nakita aqng process trinay q from 11 to v18 rooted. sa ngaun okay na phone q. sa symbianize meron

  5. i have the myphone a818 so far i can say it has a good performance for myphone A858 msyadong mababa ang internal nya panu na yan if your an app lover.. well not all of these phone can be rooted my a818 is not rooted untill now.. sobrang mahirap ei.. na try q na lahat ng rooting process wla parin
