After the successful launch of the A878 Duo, MyPhone’s first dual-SIM android smartphone to feature a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch IPS display and Android ICS OS last September 28th. MyPhone is set to launch its first ever Android smartphone that comes with 3G connectivity called the MyPhone A898 Duo! The phone features a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch IPS display, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera and Android 4.0.4 ICS OS. According to the buzz around the web, the phone is set to be launched before the end of October for a suggested retail price of just Php7,499 only! That's Php500 more than the A878 Duo! What is the difference between the MyPhone A878 Duo and the MyPhone A898 Duo?
Both phones have the same specs and looks (actually you cannot distinguish which phone is the A878 or A898 and the only way to distinguish them is the VGA front facing camera of the A898, A878 by the way has none), but the MyPhone A898 Duo comes with 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, which supports 3G connectivity and a VGA front-facing camera. While the MyPhone A878 Duo doesn't have 3G connectivity and a VGA front-facing camera.

  8. Daming kasi bloat (unnecessary apps) yung phone. From 2.5GB naging 1.56GB nlng, kapag na root mu na po pwdeng mu yan ma.uninstall to free some space

  12. 2.5gb?? kasi nakalagay pag na connet ko sa computer capacity nya 1.56gb bakit ganon naguguluhan ako.....ps reply..

  16. tnx for the response, also is there a way to direct downloads to the sd card if the internal memory is already full? I have another phone which has a very minuscule internal memory 150 mb only, it is the default storage for downloads and i tried the settings already can't find the "switch" there to the sd card. Appreciate your help.

  22. Ayun po sa isang reader nmn po "The MediaTek MT6577 is faster than the Qualcomm MSM8225 S4. The MT6577 is a dual-core Cortex A9 while the MSM8225 S4 is a dual-core Cortex A5. The A5 is more efficient, but peak performance the A9 beats it handily. However, it the speed difference is pretty negligible for general usage. It'll only be apparent in benchmarks and games."
