Cherry Mobile has officially unveiled during the "BIGGER and Brighter" event at the One Esplanade (Pasay City, Manila) four new Android smartphones from their newest Cosmos series lineup. Launched is the Cherry Mobile Cosmos X, Cosmos X2, Cosmos S and Cosmos Z. These devices are all powered by quad-core processors by MediaTek and equipped with 18MP camera! More details after the jump.

The Cherry Mobile Cosmos X and Cosmos X2 Series also boasts a Super AMOLED HD display, while Cosmos S (HD) and Cosmos Z (Full HD) boasts an IPS display. Three (3) Cosmos will be protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass and only one (1) with Dragontrail Glass. Powered by 1.2 – 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processors with PowerVR SGX544 GPUs, these four (4) Cosmos also comes with 4GB, 8GB and 16GB of internal storage. We also heard online that one of these phones comes with a whopping 7,500mAh battery (confirmed it's actually a 2,500mAh battery for the Cosmos S).

One more info there's no USB-OTG support for all Cosmos line up! The official and final SRP will be announced SOON.

  40. Much worse sa Starmobile sa provinces kasi outlets lang. They ship your starmobile phone to manila for aftersales service. I prefer going to the service center ng Cherry Mobile 30 min. before they open than waiting for 2weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  41. this is irrelevant. Starmobile looks like an iPhone 5 and Cherry Mobile Cosmos X2 looks like Galaxy S4. Would you want a copied phone which is bigger then the original iPhone5? How about a phone with similar design and dimensions with the original Galaxy S4?

Knight is best in looks. That's all. the rest it's similar or inferior to:

Cosmos X2 wins a mile and a half from Knight:
    1. Super Amoled HD screen
    2. Extra 200 mAH in battery
    4. 16Gb internal memory
    5. Expandable to 64Gb external microSDXC
    6. Physical "home" button

Did you know that iPhone5 can easily get mistaken as an iPhone4s? SM Knight would look like a pretentious iPhone5 with obvious size difference.

  47. well i'm from the province as well, Bacolod City to be specific, i have just bought a Cosmos X, and i've never been happier to buy a phone, my last phone was a CM Omega HD which i was also very happy upon buying, so i could vouch for the quality products of Cherry Mobile,

regarding after-service, personally, since i'm from the province, there are no Cherry Mobile service centers, the only place i could go to when something happens are the shops in the malls i buy my phones from, and so far, i've never had a problem with after service from cellphone shops that carry cherry mobile phones, if the phone does have a factory defect like what happened to my GF's flare months ago(she can't use the front facing cam), we just went back to the shop we bought it from, they gave us a new flare unit, and just returned the unit back to Manila . . . if shops in the province can do this and save the customer and themselves the hassle of going back and forth, why do service centers in Manila suck at it???
