Ford launches limited edition 5.0L Mustang V8 GT Premium in the Philippines!

Ford Philippines recently launched the limited edition 5.0L Mustang V8 GT Premium that boasts an exclusive Performance Package that includes Recaro Sport Seats and Over-The-Top stripes for a an even sportier feel and appearance. According to Ford, only 50 units will be made available in the Philippines with deliveries starting this August at Php2,999,000!

“Since we introduced the Ford Mustang last year, we have seen remarkable appeal for this iconic vehicle from our customers in the Philippines,” said Kay Hart, managing director, Ford Philippines.

“With more than 270 proud Mustang owners in the Philippines, we are confident that the limited edition Mustang will help continue Mustang’s success and attract many new loyal customers who will be absolutely thrilled to own this fantastic sports car.”

The Ford Mustang maintains the outstanding balance and driving behavior Mustang owners expect. The 5.0L V8 engine delivers 420 PS of power and 529 Nm of torque. The Mustang comes standard with a six-speed SelectShift Automatic transmission, an advanced control system which offers the driver a choice between fully automatic operation and manual control. The system is controlled with a selector button on the side of the shifter.

The Mustang V8 GT Premium also features the Brembo Brake Package which includes 14-inch vented front discs, unique 19-inch aluminum wheels and summer performance tires. A comprehensive suite of advanced active and passive safety technologies help the driver maintain safe control of the vehicle at any time. Mustang comes standard with driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags and curtain airbags for front and rear passengers.

The iconic sports car is also equipped with AdvanceTrac with Electronic Stability Control, a four-wheel disc brake system with ABS, traction control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a Reverse Sensing System with rear view camera.

In addition to a 4.2-inch LCD productivity screen and 8-speaker Shaker Sound System, Mustang features Ford SYNC, the award-winning in-car connectivity system. The hands-free system allows the driver to connect almost any mobile phone or digital media player to their Ford Mustang via Bluetooth. The driver is able to make calls or play his or her favorite music via voice commands and a steering wheel-mounted control, all the time with eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.

The limited edition 5.0L Mustang V8 GT Premium will be made available in two exclusive colors - Grabber Blue and Gotta Have It Green.
