Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2 vs. Starmobile Diamond X1: Specs Fight!
Last month, Starmobile unveiled the Diamond X1 the first Android smartphone to sport an octa-core processor in the Philippines, while the Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2 was released yesterday during an event called #WeAreOnFire. Running on the same "True Octa-Core" processor a lot of people are asking which is better between the two? So, aside from their looks, can you really tell the difference between the two? Based on the specs listed above, both the Cosmos Z2 and the Diamond X1 have the same MediaTek 1.7GHz octa-core MT6592 processor, Mali-450MP4 GPU and RAM, but the Diamond X1 edges the Cosmos Z2 in terms of display size at 6-inches compared to the Cosmos Z2′s 5-inches. However, the Cosmos Z2 has the advantage when it comes to resolution with its full HD display and 440ppi pixel density.
In terms of storage capacity, the Z2 packs a larger 16GB compared to the X1′s 8GB. Both have support for microSD cards for up to 64GB. Battery capacity is also different on both devices, the X1 has a larger capacity at 2,300mAh (Li-Pol) compared to the 2,000mAh (Li-Ion) on the Z2. The Z2 also comes with USB-OTG support, while the X1 comes with two Yamaha 1420 speakers.
And lastly, for the price, the Z2 carries a much cheaper price tag at Php12,999 compared to the X1′s Php13,990.
