Retailing for only Php4,990 (SRP), this 3G-capable smartphone stunner comes with a large 4-inch WVGA screen and 1GHz processor. Plus, until February 28, it will come with a free Galaxy Data SIM! The Galaxy Data SIM is actually part of Samsung’s new promo for its 3G-capable smartphones and tablets. Powered by Globe Telecom’s network, the SIM card enables new buyers of Samsung smartphones and tablets to instantly enjoy their device. The Galaxy Data SIM bestows users free two months of Globe Telecom’s PowerSurf 299 or equivalent to a total of 600MB free mobile data (300MB mobile data per month for the first 2 months). Such an amount of data enables users to deliver up to 19,000 tweets on Twitter, download 150 songs or stream up to 300 minutes of online video.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus (GT-S7262) is known outside the Philippines as the single-SIM Galaxy Star Pro (GT-S7260).
