Lenovo unveils S-series smartphones designed for Multimedia Experts in the Philippines

Lenovo continues to offer innovative solutions and value-for- money products for its Filipino consumers with the launch of its newest line of powerful, all-rounder S-series smartphones fresh from being unveiled at the recently held Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014. Designed for multimedia mavens, both models in the S Series (S650 and S930) can give its users the ultimate multimedia experience with its high definition audio and enhanced movie and gaming capabilities. Powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core processor, these smartphones can easily keep up with the high-intensity media needs of gamer or a movie addict. For better hand usage, both products have also been equipped with gesture and motion-based enhancements.

Lenovo S650: A Powerful and Pocket-sized Smartphone
The Lenovo S650 is a well-rounded Dual-SIM smartphone that is just 8.7mm thin. It runs on the new MediaTek 1.3GHz Quad Core processor, and is equipped with Android 4.2 Jellybean OS with 1G RAM to support high-level gaming and multimedia. The S650 is a compact device perfect for the budget-conscious. It features a 4.7 inches capacitive screen with IPS wide angle viewing and audio enhanced experience that is great for games and other fun applications like watching movies. It offers an 8 Megapixel rear-facing auto-focused camera with LED and flash perfect for taking clear photos as well as a 0.3 Megapixel front-facing, fixed-focus camera for making video calls.

The S930 awarded as one of the 10-show stopping smartphones at the recently held CES in Las Vegas is a super-sized smartphone that offers maximum viewing enjoyment with its 6-inch (1280 x 720) high-definition capacitive screen. Powered by the new MediaTek 1.3GHz Quad Core processor at 1GB RAM, this device, can run graphic intensive games and HD movies smoothly. The S-series smartphones are now available at Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores in Metro Manila, Gaisano Mall in Davao and Ayala Center in Cebu as well as at all authorized dealers of Open Communications, Lenovo’s exclusive smartphone distributor in the Philippines. The Lenovo S650 is being sold at P9,999 while the Lenovo S930 is being sold at P14,999.
