Starmobile Sky now official: Specs, Price and Availability (Updated)

Starmobile recently unveiled the Starmobile Sky, a 4-inch affordable Android KitKat smartphone with BSI rear camera, HSPA+ connectivity and innovative features. More about the Starmobile Sky specs and features after the jump.

The Starmobile Sky is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with 500MHz Mali-400MP2 GPU, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD slot), 2MP (Samsung Sensor) front camera and a 8MP rear camera with BSI technology and LED flash.

The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, a feature which allows users to update their phones to the latest version of Android via Wi-Fi and without the need for a PC. It also has Starmobile Sync which allows you to quickly transfer Contacts, Messages, Calendar, and other data from your old phone of any brand to the device via Bluetooth.

The ‪Starmobile Sky‬ has a Double Tap to Wake/Sleep feature as well as Intelligent pattern recognition that lets you control your smartphone like never before. A Call and Text Filtering which restrict incoming SMS and voice calls for privacy. There's also App Gesture that lets you launch applications simply by drawing a letter or a gesture on the touchscreen even while the display is turned off.

The Starmobile Sky comes in three colors (Silver, Red and Blue) and is now available in Starmobile kiosks and concept stores for only Php3,890 (SRP). Also included in the box of the Starmobile Sky: Unit, Compact charger, microUSB cable, Phone case, Screen protector, 8GB microSD card, Quick start card, Headset with mic, Battery and Warranty card.
