Tokyoflash releases the brand new limited edition Kisai Kaidoku Wood watch

Tokyoflash Kisai Kaidoku Wood

Tokyoflash Japan, an unconventional watch design company based in Tokyo has just released one of their latest creations, the Kisai Kaidoku Wood. A limited edition wood watch that displays the time with words instead of numbers. It also features a smart new stainless steel case, a custom made wooden strap and includes time, date and alarm.

Kaidoku means to decode in Japanese but this watch needs no translation once you understand how it works. Look at the words that are flashing and read them in order to tell the time. The date can be read in exactly the same way by pressing the lower button.

Kisai Kaidoku Wood has a newly designed stainless steel case which contrasts beautifully against the 100% natural wood strap. There are three models to choose from, dark sandalwood with blue LCD, red sandalwood with green LCD and maple with a purple LCD. Like all wood watches from Tokyoflash Japan, a clear coating has been applied to Kisai Kaidoku Wood for protection.

With a wide case and curved strap, Kisai Kaidoku is ideal for both small and large wrists. The color options are suited to both men and women and the watch is light weight, more like a modern bracelet than a time piece.

Like all watches from Tokyoflash Japan Kisai Kaidoku Wood  is a limited edition design which means that it is guaranteed to be an original watch that not many other people own. The Kisai Kaidoku Wood is available at the special release price of $109 (about Php4,800) and you can purchase one through Tokyoflash’s website.

Note: Originally a concept on the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog, Kaidoku Wood was designed by Tokyoflash fan Tynan Mayhew from Canada.
