Zayn quits One Direction! Carmudi checks out the luxurious car collections of the One Direction band

One Direction fans are mourning as Zayn Malik quits the group, leaving doubts as to whether the band will remain at the top of the teen pop scene.

Zayn is yet to own a driver’s license and although he may have bagged himself a celebrity fiancée and a few more tattoos since becoming a globe-trotting star, his car collection doesn’t quite rival Harry’s. Nevertheless, this doesn’t stop his passion for Bentley cars. He owns a Bentley Continental GT worth $48,000. For Valentine’s Day, Zayn was spotted in the passenger seat of a rented $178,000 convertible Bentley. Zayn has, of course, informed the world that he’s planning on owning a fleet of expensive supercars in the future.

Harry Styles, 21 years old
Despite being one of the youngest of the group, Harry passed his driving test way back in 2011 at the age of 17. He bought a Range Rover Sport and added Porsche Cayman S to his impressive collection to mark his 19th birthday.

He went along to a Manchester dealership and handed $148,000 over in return for a set of keys to a brand new, shiny Porsche Carrera for his dad. He liked it so much, that he bought a Porsche Cayman S for himself! Harry loves vintage items and antiques, and his purchase of the 1970s Ford Capri shows he’s got a good eye for classic motors.

Louis Tomlinson, 23 years old
He is the eldest of the group and owns a driver’s license. Louis paid $67,000 for a Porsche Boxster which he later put up for auction and sold for $65,000.

The proud new owner of Louis’ Boxster is believed to be a very lucky teenage girl fan of One Direction. He also owns an Aston Martin which he took to the racetrack and nearly wrecked- because he was trying to beat pop rival Conor Maynard.

As for the other two band members?
Niall Horan owns a Range Rover Sport. The 21-year old Irish heart throb star paid $104,000. While Liam Payne who auditioned in 2008 for the X-Factor’s fifth series is yet to build his own car collection
