Itel Power 70 Unboxing and First Impression
This summer, itel Philippines is set to launch its most powerful battery smartphone yet, the itel Power 70. The device features an impressive 6,000mAh onboard battery, accompanied by an additional 4,000mAh charging case, bringing the total battery capacity to a remarkable 10,000mAh!

The itel Power 70 also features a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate chipset. It comes with 4GB of RAM and offers storage options of either 128GB or 256GB. Additionally, the device includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera.
I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one, and I’m excited to share my unboxing experience and initial impressions of the device. So, let’s dive into the unboxing!
Unboxing the itel Power 70
The front packaging of the itel Power 70 comes with a sleeve that displays both the smartphone and the charging case. It's important to hold it properly to prevent the contents from slipping out. Once you remove the cover sleeve, you will find the individual packaging for both the phone and the charging case.

The phone highlights its key feature: a 6,000mAh battery, and the back of the box includes important details such as the four key features and other specifications of the device.

On the charging case, the front features an additional 4,000mAh battery, while the other side has little information to display.
Inside the Box and Accessories
First, let's open the smartphone package. Inside, you'll find the itel Power 70. After setting the phone aside, you’ll also discover an 18W charging adapter, a USB Type-C to USB-A charging cable, a SIM card ejector tool, standard documentation, and a protective silicone case, in case you prefer not to use the additional charging case.

Next, we'll look at the charging case. When opened, you will find the charging case wrapped in white matte plastic.

Now that I have unboxed everything, I will take a closer look at the physical features of the device and share my first impressions with you.
Design and Walk Around
The itel Power 70, like its predecessors, features a sleek and modern design. I appreciate this design, especially since the back panel is resistant to fingerprints. My phone is in Marine color, but it is also available in three other colors: Black, Bronze, and Silver.

Despite housing a large battery, the itel Power 70 maintains a slim profile, measuring just 7.98 mm in thickness and weighing 200 grams.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.67-inch HD+ (720 x 1600) IPS display that offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The display features a centered hole-punch for an 8MP front camera located at the top, along with a thin, discreet flash positioned above it. Additionally, the phone comes with a pre-installed screen protector.

On the back of the phone, you'll see three circular camera modules, which are primarily designed for aesthetic purposes. The phone actually features a dual-camera setup that includes a 13MP main camera and a depth sensor, along with a dual LED flash. One of the circular modules also contains an IR blaster.

On the left side of the device, there is a card tray with a 3-card slot accommodating two nano-SIM cards and a dedicated slot for a microSD card.

The right side features the standard volume rocker and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.

At the bottom of the device, you'll find a USB Type-C charging port, a downward-firing speaker, a microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Charging Case
The charging case features a sleek matte black finish and a hump-style design, with a slight bulge in the bottom half. This design not only offers a smooth and comfortable grip but also maintains a slim profile.

On the back of the case, there are four indicator lights and a power button. The bottom of the case is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port.
Inside the charging case, you will find a USB Type-C connection for attaching the itel Power 70. Additionally, the specifications and instructions for operating the charging case are included.

Also, here’s the itel Power 70 once it is attached to the charging case.
Hardware
The itel Power 70 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate chipset, built on a 12nm manufacturing process. This chipset features eight Cortex-A53 cores and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The device features 4GB of RAM, with the option to expand it by an additional 4GB using a technology called MemFusion. It is offered in two storage capacities: 128GB and 256GB. The itel Power 70 operates on itel OS 4.5, which is based on Android 14. Additionally, it is equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W PowerCharge technology.
For photography, the smartphone has a dual-camera system with a 13MP primary camera and is complemented by a depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP in-display selfie camera.

Sample photos taken with the itel Power 70 have been provided, and a detailed evaluation of the phone's camera capabilities will be available next week.
