Cherry Mobile W100 vs. Cherry Mobile Candy TV: Specs Fight!



The Cherry Mobile W100 and the Cherry Mobile Candy TV, both phones are Cherry's first affordable Android dual SIM smartphone (Below P4K - No Trade-in required) to feature a 1GHz processor and a 3.5-inch IPS display. Due to the overwhelming demand of these phones, a lot of people are asking which is better between the two? So, Aside from their looks, can you really tell the difference between the two? If not, let’s look at their specs side-by-side after the jump.

If you can see both the Cherry Mobile W100 and the Cherry Mobile Candy TV have the same processor frequency and both have GPU's that can play Temple Run and is compatible with Adobe Flash, but the W100 edges the Candy TV with its bigger RAM (512MB), its 3.2MP rear camera, bigger battery capacity and most importantly, support for GPS and 3G/ HSPA connectivity! While the Cherry Mobile Candy TV only edges the W100 with its Mobile TV and its price (it's Php200 cheaper than the W100), but according to AnTuTu Benchmark Results, the MediaTek MT6575 processor can reach a CPU frequency of 1998.84MHz or 2GHz. That's 2x faster than the 1GHz frequency stated in the specs of the phone.

    yung mobile tv kelangan ba ng internet or load pra gumana? or kahit signal lng. kasi kung kelangan ng net/load ung w100 n lng bibilhin q

  4. Sir, yung W100 po walng TV tuner, yung Candy TV lng po. Same lng po sa kanilang TV phones at nd na po need yung internet o load.

  5. wuuhuhuh luge, 512 mb ram pla ang w100.. tsk tsk.. samntalang 256 mb ram lng sa candy tv.. tpus 60mb lng ang yta maximum free.. pero mganda pa dn performance nya.. wla pang lags.. menu is like w900.. at ang bonus is may TV OUT ang candy tv.. hehe i dont if know meron dn nto sa w100.. but its nice na meron din TV OUT to.. d ko pa nga lang ntry.. but performance wise.. this is a great phone.. :)

    kung phone na may tv hanap nyo.. then this is my rocommended among all phones na may tv ..

    screen is fantastic.. linaw tlaga.. gnda manood ng tv..

    im a candy tv owner kaya maniwala kayo.. toinks hehehe
